Installation requirements for retaining ring of synchronous pulley
1. There must be a retaining ring on both sides of two pulleys, or a retaining ring on different sides of each pulley.
2. In the transmission with the center distance more than 8 times of the diameter of the small pulley, there should be retaining rings on both sides of the two pulleys.
3. In vertical shaft drive, there should be retaining rings on both sides of one pulley, and there should be retaining rings on the bottom side around different sides of each pulley of the system.
4. In multi shaft drive, it shall be ensured that there are two retaining rings for every pulley, or one retaining ring around different sides of each pulley of the system.
When installing the belt pulley, pay attention to the parallelism of the belt pulley axis, so that the transmission center of each belt pulley is in the same plane, so as to prevent the belt measurement from being pressed on the retaining ring due to the deflection of the belt pulley, which causes the side wear of the belt to intensify, or even the belt is cut off by the retaining ring. Therefore, the deflection of pulley must be adjusted, and the deflection angle can be adjusted to the allowable range.
When installing the timing belt, the tension must be appropriate. If the belt tension is too small, the belt teeth will jump out of the groove of the belt teeth; if the belt tension is too large, the friction will be intensified, and the belt life will be reduced. The tension of the belt can be realized by changing the center distance of the transmission device.
